Frequently Asked Questions

If you require assistance with return shipments, please notify us in advance. Please note that returns delivered by Amazon often arrive in poor condition—typically in damaged single-wall cartons, with items either missing or scattered.

If you would like us to manage your returns, kindly reach out beforehand. However, we do not offer detailed return item counting services after each delivery. Additionally, we cannot assume responsibility for any missing items or discrepancies in return stock counts.

Return & Removal Management & Prep

We offer a flat rate for all return items. However, handling returns can be challenging and time-consuming due to the following reasons:

  • Boxes often arrive damaged.

  • Quantities can vary from a single item to an entire pallet.

  • Mixed boxes may contain up to 20 different products, making sorting extremely tedious.

While this flat rate doesn’t fully cover the effort involved, we provide this service as a goodwill gesture.

Common Issues:

Mixed Product Pallets: Occasionally, Amazon sends a pallet with a single box containing a mix of products. This complicates sorting, especially when packing slips are:

  • Lengthy

  • Damaged

  • Missing

  • Waste Management Costs: We incur significant costs just to manage the waste created from returns, such as boxes and packing materials.

Our Process:

Storage Policy:

  •  We do not charge for storage

  •  Ideally, all returns should be processed within 2 weeks.

Handling Fees:

  • A fee of £0.35 applies to each return or removal item, whether it’s prepped again, discarded, or sent back to the supplier.

  • We do not take responsibility for Items Count

  • We only take responsibility for the items we physically receive, regardless of the number of returns or removals sent.

Damaged Goods Management:

  • There is currently no system in place for managing damaged goods.

  • We are temporarily placing mixed items into boxes, but this needs further discussion.

Costs for Damaged Items:

All costs associated with damaged items, such as discarding large quantities, resorting, repackaging, or shipping back to the supplier or another address, will be covered by the client.

Sorting & Prep Charges:

The £0.35 fee covers receiving, sorting, handling, and general quality checks.

If additional prep is required the cost will be added to the base flat rate.

As mentioned earlier, the flat rate for returns includes services such as receiving, handling & counting during the re-prep. Any additional prep work beyond these services will be charged separately. For example, if a return requires bubble wrap, the cost will be calculated as follows: 0.35 + 0.80 = 1.15 per unit.

This pricing does not apply to small quantities. For smaller volumes, a one-time minimum charge of £10 will be applied to cover invoicing and processing costs.

Inspection:

Please note that inspection is not included in the standard return handling service. It is available as an additional, paid service upon request.

All prices exclude material expenses. We will notify you in advance of any such costs.

We keep unattended inventory for only four weeks. If you return within four weeks, you will be charged storage fees in addition to the prep fees. Any unattended merchandise will be disposed of after four weeks. You will lose all right to recover your inventory.

Yes. We accept several pallet deliveries on a weekly basis, but you must send with a taillift lorry.
